These handcrafted rowhouse mugs are made through my unique process. I take a photos of rowhouses in neighborhoods throughout Washington DC, then I etch and cut the image into lineoleum to create a print. Next, I stamp the print with a dark glance to imprinted structure of the rowhomes. I then smooth out the flat clay into a mug and attach a handle. The rowhomes are a beautiful part of DC or any urban area with rowhome built during the early 1900's.
